LaSalle County Tourism approached our team looking to produce an ad that highlighted tourism in the region in a fresh and engaging way.
Our team took on all aspects of the project from concept development to final export. Each character was filmed at an everyday life scene depicting the common stresses of life that inspire the desire to getaway. These scenes were then paired with an experience scene, positioning LaSalle County as the perfect getaway destination. During the writing process, we worked carefully to match the dialogue with experiences in a non-direct way, adding a level of comedy at times that keeps the viewer engaged.
When planning a trip, we often find ourselves thinking “what do I want?”. This moment is a great opportunity to contrast the stressful “I just want to escape” moment with the relief and freedom of a trip. We knew this contrast could be used in a creative way to showcase the variety of activities in LaSalle County.
