Introduction

Heritage Corridor Destinations approached our team wanting media to power their 2024 campaign. From broadcast ads and social media content, to longer form pieces suited for web, this project was wide - ranging with a variety of media. Each piece was tailored with careful consideration, creativity, and plenty of thought behind every detail.

Process

From creative concept development, securing props and talent, to the final export, our team handled every step of the process. Each talent group was carefully selected to match the activities showcased. Every camera angle/movement was meticulously chosen to properly convey the desired emotion, feel, and pacing of each video. Just as important as the right visuals is a proper sound design, our team dedicated hours to fine tuning the right blend of sound effects, both natural and artificial, with background music that gave a nod to Route 66’s nostalgic roots while embracing the modern focus.

Idea

With a short run-time and faster pace, our fifteen second ads are designed to be scroll-stopping pieces that stand out in a cluttered feed. Each video focused on a different theme of roadside stops; Food, Photo-Ops, and History.

Dubbed ‘Roadtrip Anthems’ our thirty second ad was focused on what Route 66 is known for - the road trip. We aimed to showcase a couple with a nostalgic car experiencing the scenes and feels of a trip down this historic road. To achieve the right visual flare and attention grabbing pace required for a broadcast ad, each transition and cut needed to feel seamless, and intentional; Our team delivered.

With more time available within the two minute website video, we set out to create a piece that explored the history and significance of America’s Main Street, while inviting the viewer to discover the history and significance for themselves. This concept was focused around the building pace and voiceover that continuously pushed the story forward throughout the video.
