Tangled Roots partnered with our team to create a series of films, each focused on a different restaurant and its connection to place. The Lone Buffalo, located in Ottawa, Illinois, holds special significance as the brand’s first location and the home of their original craft brewery and farm operations.
Our team combined aerials, interior motion, and cinematic fly-through shots to guide viewers through the full Lone Buffalo experience. Because the films would be displayed in restaurants without audio, storytelling relied heavily on intentional pacing, visual progression, and carefully crafted on-screen titles to communicate the narrative.
This piece was designed to visually connect the land, the brewing process, and the guest experience. By highlighting the surrounding region, the copper brewing kettles imported from Bavaria, and the authenticity of Tangled Roots’ Farm to Foam approach, the film reinforces the brand’s deep connection to craft, community, and origin.
